The last year and a half have not been easy. The materials in this project will help both my students and me greatly. Not only will these items help with the educational aspect of school but also the social-emotional aspect. Items such as easel pads will help get educational displays on the walls. Sensory items will help bring down the frustration levels of students who have a difficult time staying focused. I am excited for the opportunity to bring in new items to my classroom that students in low-income households normally wouldn't get to experience. COVID has caused a lot of hardships with my students' families and these items will help lift the weight.
