A big part of learning occurs during the times when we can leave our desks and come together on the carpet. It creates a more intimate and personal learning space for students to read stories, play games, engage in discourse, and even dance and sing. It is also a great space for small groups of children to work together. However, we need a rug that is large enough to accommodate our entire class. The rug that I have selected gives everyone their individual space while also taking into account the need for continued social distancing.
