Utilizing these books and tools will aide my students when they are feeling overwhelmed and upset. Teaching the students about different emotions, what they mean, what your body my feel like, will help them to become more self aware. Once they are able to identify these feelings, the tools I am hoping to obtain will be used to support them in these times. These materials provide the sensory input and comfort they will need. The iPods will provide calming music as well as possible meditation sessions and mantras for students to learn.
