All of the athletes want to learn and become better every single day. These athletes are motivated and dedicated every single day of the week. Not only do these athletes compete in Track and Field but they also play various other sports. These athletes are at a school that is lower income and on the side of the Parish that does not receive as much attention. The team does not have a home track and practice on concrete and muddy grass every single day. The practice conditions never stopped the athletes from reaching their goals. The equipment listed will be used for speed development, resistance training and developing motor skills for stride pattern and running technique. It is important to give these athletes all of the knowledge possible prior to entering into a meet and working on form and speed. Field event athletes can also use the resistance bands for stretches. This team has come a long ways. In previous years, the teams has not placed high at District, Regionals, or State. This past season both teams competed extremely well at District and Regionals and even had STATE QUALIFIERS. This team needs your help. As a coach, I can only spread my knowledge as far as I can without the proper equipment. Your donation can help bring this program to the next level. We appreciate anything that helps.
