This project will be used interscholastically for students to learn about past and current events. Not only will this project be used for Reading, but will also be used for our Science, Math, and Social Studies lessons. The use of Time for Kids will also give students the opportunity to share their thoughts and opinions and that will lead to peer discussions. Students will be exposed to text that is not just worksheets or textbook based. The different text features and visuals used in the articles will help students get a better understanding of non-fiction informational text. I really believe that my students will not only enjoy, but learn more with the use of this resource.
