At my school, part of students reaching their overall goals in reading and math is involving the use of a computer program called I-Ready. Students have to at least get 45 minutes each of reading and math. Although we have two to three computers per classroom, it can be difficult for all students to reach this weekly goal, especially if they do not have time or Internet access at home to assist them. Having a classroom set of tablets in the classroom can provide support for my students and allow more of them to complete I-Ready Reading or Math during our small-group time, allowing for more of them to reach their goals to help them practice their skills and improve throughout their academic journey.
