My students have learning disabilities as well as trouble focusing. Flexible seating will give them the opportunity to move while they are learning as well let them use their bodies to get energy out while learning. Research has shown that flexible seating helps students learn and retain new learning material easier. It will also provide them with an environment that they will look forward to coming into. Flexible seating builds a classroom that is more interactive for learning. My students will be able to focus on learning instead of focusing on trying to sit still.
