My students gain knowledge of learning color and visual expression on materials they have not used before. Teaching my students how color works and having them paint with the knowledge of mixing paint and applying it on canvas will only build their confidence and motivation. Many of my students do not know what canvas is, so introducing them to materials for them to explore and how to mix color will strengthen their critical thinking skills. I plan on every student to express themselves on each canvas with their exploration of color and representation.
