MHS has an extremely diverse learner population. About 20% of our population is comprised of English Language Learners and about 20% of our learners receive Special Education services. As a result, teachers are tasked with creating extensively robust lessons, while also meeting the needs of ALL learners. The premise behind the technology is that the items will assist the teachers in being more mobile during instruction. The text, Invisible Man was the anchor text for our professional development series this year and thus will assist in building and maintaining relationships with learners who otherwise will have felt invisible.
