My 3rd-grade students are eager to build their reading goals this year! After assessing and conferencing with all students, they all mentioned that they wanted to work hard to improve their reading level. My library has mostly Fountas and Pinnell level I-P books; therefore, my students need lower-level books to practice reading at their level. Physical books will help my students feel empowered, independent, and competent. These books will make sure that students are practicing fluency, and reading high-frequency words. My students are ready to meet their goals and improve their reading levels with these books.
