It is my desire to teach students in a way in which they are engaged and have meaningful learning. Also, I want them to remember their educational experiences. Help me give my students experience with hands-on science principles with a watch it flow water table and economy sand water table. I will be using these items to teach science concepts. These concepts include force, motion, gravity, water displacement, and many others; however, when I use them to teach it will be cross-curricular. They will not just be participating in a science lesson. Math, physical education, art, reading, writing, language, and technology will be integrated in with these lessons. Hands-on learning gives students more of a chance to make real learning connections, especially any lessons that include abstract concepts. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and remember. Involve me and I learn.”
