Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to learn in a way that best suits their bodies. Many of my students have difficulty sitting still at a desk for 6 hours straight. Flexible seating gives them the opportunity to sit on the floor at a lap desk or read a book in a comfy bean bag. Students are also able to make choices that will benefit their learning. This puts them in control of their learning. The addition of the floor seats, wobble cushions and balance ball seats provide a variety of flexible seating options in my classroom. These items will be a well-loved and supported addition.
