I believe music education provides a comprehensive learning experience that ultimately shapes well rounded, hard working, musical and mindful young adults. That said, instruments and equipment are going to be essential to the success of these amazing students. We are hoping to purchase a 9 piece set of Orff instruments and 12 pairs of mallets. The Orff philosophy of music education provides an approach that combines music, movement, drama, and speech into lessons that are similar to a child’s world of play. A 9 piece Lyons Orff percussion set will allow for versatility for varying ages and abilities.
