The pillow, toys, and fidgets will help my elementary students to have a welcoming environment and safe space in my counseling office. There, they will be able to grow socially and learn to effectively express their emotions. The dry erase boards will be a great addition when students want to write or draw instead of talk. These items will work as tools and toys as students can learn through play. They will be able to have fidgets during conversations and have a pillow to comfort them while in the calm down corner when they need a break from all the stressors that school brings.

About my class
