These fidgets will be used in counseling sessions with students who suffer from anxiety, ADD/ADHD, as well as other mental health issues. I will use these fidgets to assist with concentration in class and with overall calming throughout the school day and at home. Kids need health outlets when they are experiencing mental health issues in school. These fun little devices will be used to teach students calming techniques. Treating students with mental health issues is a priority and having the right tools to do so is essential in their success. Classroom presentations, as well as small group and individual counseling sessions, will take place where the students are taught how to use the fidgets when they are feeling overwhelmed, anxious or in need of a healthy distraction.
