I plan on using The Economist as a way to show students economics does not only happen in a textbook, but it also happens in real life and it is all around them. By offering them issues of The Economist to read or by using the articles to supplement classroom topics my students will be able to see the real-world application of the theoretical concepts we discuss in class. I am excited for students to discover how the "dismal science" affects everyone no matter where they live, what they do, or who they are.
