Students are more inspired than ever to use their voices to create social change. Furthermore, in the time of the pandemic, many of our student musicians haven't had an opportunity to perform publicly. As a result, more and more students have cultivated their musical passions and creative voices at home. Acoustic guitars allow students to make music meaningfully at home, in small groups, and in performances. They lend themselves beautifully to students compositions and are an excellent and portable complement to any musical training! Our students need a creative outlet now more than ever, both for their own emotional expression and as a way to make social change. My 8th students will creatively thrive with guitars in their hands! They already have the tools to sing and compose, thanks to the projects we've taken on in choir and in remote learning this year. They have the passion to share their voices creatively to affect social change in their communities. Let's put a guitar in their hands and see what happens!
