Children respond to books when they feel like they get to choose what they are going to read. I plan on using these books to give students that opportunity. I want them to be exposed to many different topics and excited enough to tell their classmate something that they have read. I want to encourage and promote fun books by having students give a book talk about the best book they have read recently from my classroom library. This will give them the chance to share good books and motivate their friends.
