By learning through play our special education students will learn the basics of social skills and getting along with each other. Our students have mental health or medical issues that make them very active. Ping Pong is a great way to learn to get along with others while getting physical exercise. Our students need to learn to work as a team so playing doubles will make this possible. Learning how to be a good winner as well as a gracious loser is part of learning to get along with others and helping prepare them to be a contributing member of our society as a whole.

About my class
