My students are part of a very diverse population and each of them has very different learning needs. PearDeck activities will allow them to use an immersive reader, translate text into their native language, respond to activities in a variety of ways, and receive immediate and simultaneous feedback - even while they are working on the activity. Students who struggle with attention and behavior disorders are able to receive personal and discreet redirection from their teacher to keep them on track for learning at their highest level. The components of PearDeck will build students up and create a safe space for them to take risks, be bold, and overcome the fear of failure and embarrassment. The all-inclusive activities that PearDeck offers will help my students reach their full potential and realize that they are braver than they believe, stronger than they seem, and smarter than they think. They will no longer be flying solo on their assignments at home, teachers can give feedback in real-time and take the guesswork out of the equation. Collaboration between teachers and students will be stronger and more convenient than ever before.
