These instrument test kits are a fantastic way for students to explore making sounds on flute, clarinet/saxophone, trumpet, trombone, and euphonium before signing up for band. Each kit contains one mouthpiece from each of the band instruments and allows students to see what instrument they like the most (and what instrument they find the most initial success with). Using these kits helps students decide on the right instrument for them before their families have to commit to a big instrument purchase. These test kits are an excellent choice because all the pieces are dishwasher safe and can be sanitized between uses. This is a covid friendly way for our students to discover what instrument they like and helps them to get excited for band! The band program at our school has been on hold for the 20/21 school year due to Covid restrictions, but it will be coming back in the fall!! It is more important than ever to get students excited for making music so we can once again have a strong and vibrant music program.
