The products that I have chosen will be used to create a classroom environment where students will love to learn and learn to love. The goal is to welcome students' different needs in how they learn and interact with each other. My focus for my students is social-emotional learning, learning to respect and embrace differences in each other, and most importantly, in themselves. Flexible seating will help students who need movements and different perspectives to focus. This also gives them a choice in how and where they can learn best, creating a comfortable learning space where my students can feel encouraged to explore and discover their limitless abilities. The SEL book selection will help students find comfort in the idea that differences are all around us. This will help them work through social interactions within the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom.
