The materials selected will help fill in learning gaps that are certainly to some degree a result of the school year disruption caused by COVID-19. The incoming 4th graders have basic math skills that are significantly behind the typical incoming classes. I believe that is because they had to start their year from home on Zoom lessons and had significant challenges with the technology and the connectivity from the start. To couple that with families that were struggling to maintain employment and provide for their families just added another level of complexity. These tools will help make math learning fun and fill learning gaps as well as provide challenges for students who are ready for further advancement! I appreciate you considering this request and wish you many happy returns with knowing that you have made a difference in the lives of some very worthy children!!
