This project will help to create an exciting environment for my students. First impressions are so important for primary students. I want them to walk into the classroom and immediately fall in love with their classroom. The appearance of the classroom will help to set the stage so we can begin to build positive relationships, friendships, and a safe learning environment for everyone. I also have some items on the list, such as soft lighting that will go in my calming corner. This will be a spot students can use if they are having a rough moment. It will be a place to relax, breathe and get ready to learn. My school is a high Title school and I want my classroom to be their home away from home, an inviting environment they enjoy coming to each and every day.
