I am creating my very first classroom. With that comes the challenge of funding for all of the materials and supplies. I am asking for supplies straight from my student's supply lists, classroom books, math manipulatives, flexible seating, snacks for my students, decorations to create a comforting and educational setting, and other classroom necessities.
My students are unable to purchase their own supplies and it would be a huge blessing to be able to provide those for them in the Fall. The students will use these supplies in each subject. The majority of the things on my list are the basic supplies straight from their supply list (pencils, glue, scissors, pencil pouches, tissues, etc.) You can find their supply list on the Roanoke City Public School website. The supplies will directly go toward my student's learning and everyday class functioning.
The book collection will help build literacy and a love for reading. The decorations and furniture will help create a home-away-from-home for my students. I have listed a printer and a laminator on my account. These will be used to prepare materials for each day.
I am asking for flexible seating for my classroom. Flexible seating is used to allow students to have ownership over where they feel most comfortable sitting and can be used as a fidget for students who struggle to sit still.
Please consider helping my students and our community by supporting my project.
