As we learn about poetry and creative writing, my students will enjoy adding musical undertones or sound effects to their writing. With the Sphero Specdrums and the iPad, my students will learn about rhythm and rhyme in poetry and understand how to create a climax in a story through music or beats. In addition, my students will understand how music sets the mood and create emotions that range from sadness to happiness. Because writing is tedious for many students, the Sphero Specdrums and iPad will encourage them to write more and express their own creativity through written expression.
