Fifth grade is a critical testing year! Students need to be prepared for it. Students will use colored pencils to find key details within passages they are reading. They will need lots of paper to write their informative and opinion essays throughout the school year. The students will be creating writers notebooks and decorating them to personalize them and get them excited about writing. Writing is not easy and I want my students to get motivated about writing so that they will eventually be able to publish their own books at the end of the school year!
