Our books will motivate second grade readers to continue their growth in literature and learning. Our school is new and currently relies on teachers to provide classroom libraries. As a first year teacher, my students would benefit greatly from access to interesting books that are at their perfect reading level. Without a traditional school library I would like to offer my students the opportunity to check out classroom books to take home. As a school whose community is low-income we are in need of literacy rich resources to build strong reading environments.

About my class
