Kindergarten can be most students first experience in a public school setting. These flexible seating options will not only give my students choice in the classroom but also provide them with a sense of ownership of their classroom. My students come from several different backgrounds. I want their classroom to be their safe space. Where they can choose where they learn best and be able to make that independent choice for themselves. This is another way I would like my students to feel that this is not my classroom it is their safe, comfortable, and flexible classroom that promotes productive struggle, growth, and so much more.
