Covid-19 has affected us all in its own way. It has had a tremendous affect on our children and their education. Distance learning has affected their social skills, comprehension and overall grade level readiness. With these products I will be able to focus on the students’ social emotional learning. I try to talk about how we are feeling daily but not all 34 of my students will respond in a big group conversation. With the tools in my cart, I will give them the option to partake in SEL in small groups. I feel like I only focus on the children that are struggling and am not able to challenge my higher level kids. With the products, I will be able to challenge all of my students in order to achieve their goals.
