Since this is my first year teaching, I am kind of starting completely from scratch. I will be teaching 7th grade pre-algebra at Grant Middle School starting in August. Last school year, I was employed at Grant as an RTI paraprofessional. Although I helped with reading once a week, I spent most of my time providing much-needed support to students in grades 5-8 in math. After doing that last year, I have a pretty good feel for what the students will need in my classroom. Although our students are given a supplies list, I don't want them to have to worry about having things like pencils, markers, and erasers. I want them to know that showing up to class should be their number one priority. I can help with the rest as needed. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and helping in any way you can. Thank you and stay safe!
