In the learning center these materials will be used to allow for students to learn in ways that will be able to be interpreted by students of all abilities. These materials will allow for a greater expansion on the core idea of taking breaks and seeking external outlets for their emotions. We are working on promoting the students in the learning center to be able to advocate for themselves especially when they are feeling overwhelmed or upset. These students enjoy having a place that will give them that outlet. The students in the learning center find it easier to regulate themselves when they are doing something with their hands. The other multi-sensory items here are going to also allow for my students to use their hands while working on their academics. The students in the learning center seem to understand materials the most when they are able to manipulate items in the process.
