Most students do not like hard student desks and chairs. Especially after a year of online learning, students want to be comfortable. Studies have shown that when students get to choose their seats and choose what fits their comfort level, they are more on task. Students want comfortable choices. By getting a couch, some rocker chairs, and chair cushions, I will be able to add to the comfy seats I already have so that students will have a bigger variety to choose from. My goal is to increase on task behavior with my students, many who have been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and need something different in order to learn at max capacity.
