The stethoscope will help to evaluate and assist ill students, as will the dermatology cards. I also will be able to use the set of blood pressure cuffs to better evaluate students. My current desk is older and the drawers do not open, so a new desk would provide me with a better work space. And a small table for work meetings and to work at, not only myself, but students also if needed. These materials will help me to create a friendly, welcoming environment for students to come to when not feeling well or just need time to calm down. I believe that addressing student's mental health is just as important as their physical health. Receiving these resources will help me to be successful at helping students.
