The cooking materials requested will help my students continue to learn cooking and nutrition, together, as a large group, on our school campus. Students will learn the joy of cooking for oneself, family, and others along with learning kitchen tool safely, food prep, eating healthy, clean up, and budgeting. Students will be introduced to and share their own world cultures, customs, and flavors! Countertop toaster ovens are ideal because they do not take up a lot of space and we can place many in a large room to learn baking, roasting, and more. Students will also be encouraged to participate in food and cultural related events within the school and community.
