The kidney shaped table will provide an environment for collaboration during speech and language therapy sessions in the school setting. Students will be able to work together with their peers to achieve their goals in speech sounds, reading comprehension, writing, and increasing communication. The speech therapy room now has individual desks which make it difficult for students to collaborate. At the kidney table, students will be able to get individualized support from the speech therapist while also being able to engage in discussion with their peers in the group across the table.

About my class
