Currently, the microscopes that we have are not functional, they are either broken or missing parts. I want my students to be able to see the microscopic things, the things that I teach them about. I want to take them to gather samples of pond water and dirt, or other materials and let them explore life they never imagined existed. I want to see the expressions of amazement on their faces when they first find the wiggly creature they captured. I want to build a love of science they would never imagine.
