Often the students in my classroom need multiple different breaks from daily learning activities in the resource room. They easily become overwhelmed or are needing a change from the daily educational tasks required of them. By having these resources in my classroom I am able to utilize STEM daily with this unique group of students and teach them about different ways to learn. When taking a break from our classwork we will still be learning through the use of legos and coding. Many of my students thrive in using technology and are motivated in doing so. These resources will provide a tool for me to motivate and educate my students to continue learning when they need breaks. These materials will help my students to think critically and test different strategies to solve a problem. They can think like engineers and scientists while taking breaks from activities that overwhelm them!
