In kindergarten one of our main focuses is enhancing students alphabet knowledge. These alphabet manipulatives that I am hoping to receive will assist me in teaching students the various letters and sounds of the alphabet. With these manipulatives the students will be able to learn the alphabet letters and sounds through hands on play. It is important to have different learning modalities for students. Many students at this age are kinesthetic learners. On top of that, learning should be fun and exciting which is what I am hoping to achieve with these hands on manipulatives.
