I want my students to enjoy coming to the library by finding a comfortable and safe place to read, draw, and/or sit quietly to do their class work. Our library looks sterile and uninviting, even for myself! So many of my students are not readers and I want to make the space a place for them to walk into and feel immediately welcome and secure. Having a place in the school that is quiet and comfortable can make all the difference to a student. Not only can this offer a quiet setting, but it can also see the good in school and all it has to offer.
