No child wants to be fussed at for not having a pencil, and, honestly, sometimes they can't afford one! I try to provide my students with most (if not all) the supplies they will need for my class. This eases the financial burden from parents but also lets me know that my students are on track for success. It is a lot easier to start off on the right foot when you have everything you need! To be honest, by the end of the year, sharpies are drained, pencils are gones, and the extra paper supply is depleted. I am asking for supplies to start of the next year fresh, prepared, and with the smell of paper!
