All students want to be their best at home, at school and out in the world. Many, however, struggle with big emotions and impulsivity that can get in the way of being their best. Explicit instruction helps students learn ways to recognize their emotions, express them in a healthy way and be able to learn in the classroom. Read alouds, games and classroom resources help reinforce the instruction in my classroom and make learning fun. The books, games and classroom resources requested will help my students know themselves better and gain skills to be successful across their environments. When students have engaging materials they are more active in their learning.
