My kindergarten students will use these tables daily as their "own space." Each child will have an indented space to call their own and have room to have their supplies. However, these tables provide the ability to work together as a team. This is so important as it helps the kids see other perspectives, practice social skills, and get to know each other! Kids need to feel a part of a team, and these tables are fantastic for building those relationships and skills! Rectangular tables are not conducive for working together, and the kids don't have enough room to put their materials. They are always bumping into each other! These new tables are such a great way to give everyone a seat where they can be successful!
