If my project is fully funded I will be able to create a sensory area to help my students with Autism. The light will create a calming environment and the wiggle seats and sensory circles will give them something to sit and walk on in the area as the calm themselves. The other items will be used to help my students with sensory issues or to give them something to hold and play with while we are working in large groups. The rest of the items and manipulatives will be used to enhance classroom learning and are based on some our thematic units we use.
