I teach pre-kindergarten and kindergarten. We are face to face learners that enjoy every minute. I make my lessons fun and meaningful; striving hard to relate them to real life. Plus, we do a lot of science projects to further learning. Learning phonics, writing, and reading in one spot is hard for little learners. I know other teachers who had success with flexible seating. I think they will benefit from raised desks, in front of the smart board, as well as wait time while each student reads at small group. They get bored easily and waiting in one spot is a challenge. I want to answer that challenge with wobble seats.
