One of my favorite parts about teaching is being able to read aloud to my students. I love to use picture books to teach quick, yet meaningful lessons. Picture books are perfect tools to help students learn about human differences, history, and the impact that we have on the world. These books will allow me to give students opportunities to hear stories that not only teach them about their peers and people in the world, but also hear and see representation of themselves. A picture book a day keeps the mind from going astray!
