These books will help build connections in our biography writing. The books will also help expose students to places they likely won’t visit through reading. Many of my students don’t have an opportunity to travel outside of the state. Although we have access to technology, I want to give my students an opportunity to read about these topics on paper. I feel showing students books about all different types of famous people is important. Our local libraries don’t have a lot of new materials for children so many times the only chance they will see these books is in a classroom. Thank you in advance for helping my student gain new knowledge.
