The opportunity to have this iPad in the classroom will allow my students to improve their research capabilities as they work together in groups. For example, during black history month I students in groups will use the iPad to research an African American figure who has impacted them in any way. They need the technology to be able to finish projects in a timely manner. I split the teams in groups and I assign a day to each group they can conduct their research using online resources. Making learning hands-on and allowing them the flexibility to research material is a huge advantage for their learning success. As a new teacher I am really focus on hands on learning and researching credible sources. The iPad will be used exclusively for research among the students. Not having enough computers and laptops at our school make it very difficult to complete these projects so we are looking forward to getting this funded. Our school is low income and we do not have enough resources when it comes to technology. Thank you for any contribution you can provide!! Making Research and Learning Fun!
