The students at my school would benefit from new furniture that allows them to feel comfortable and productive in class. Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. This will keep their young minds more alert and focused.
