Incorporating interactive technology in my classroom will make learning more engaging to my students with special needs. I have requested a MimioTeach Interactive Whiteboard because this will create learning activities which incorporate purposeful movement and responsive audio-visual feedback, which is effective in increasing and sustaining student engagement. Incorporating interactive technology will increase pedagogical interactivity that is more valuable in our modern world that is increasingly utilizing technology in every facet of our lives. Having exposure and intentional exposure to interactive technology will increase levels of interactivity involving students developing the ability to orchestrate features in pursuit of learning and being given the opportunity to do so.
